Fraser River Heritage Park is the site of many community activities. Every Wednesday and Friday, throughout the summer, evening concerts are held in the park. Every year on Father's day, thousands of visitors come to the park for Old Car Sunday which attracts hundreds of antique cars. In July, the city gathers for a weekend of music celebration and fun for all ages at the Mission Folk Festival. The park is visited regularly by local residents for the sheer enjoyment of the setting. The Norma Kenney House includes a gift shop, restaurant, and administrative offices. The park also houses the historic ruins of St. Mary's Mission and Indian Residential School.
